Qualifications (expected on day 1):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with electrical systems, safety protocols, and working at heights is essential
- Previous experience with solar panel and generator installation preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles and wiring techniques
- Knowledge of electrical systems, both AC and DC, including troubleshooting, wiring, and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in safely handling power and hand tools, as well as materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, lumber, and roofing materials
- Must bring your own hand tools, we supply power tools
- Proficient in the daily use of smartphones and tablets for various work related duties
- Ability to manage a job and lead a small crew
- Comfortable working in attics and confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable attendance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Capability to climb ladders, work on sloped roofs, and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors, often at elevated heights and in various weather conditions. The job may also require travel to job sites throughout the local area.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work in a variety of positions, including standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical work, including running electrical conduit and wiring
- Install and connect electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices
- Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and other relevant local codes
- Test and troubleshoot home standby generators and solar energy systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Collaborate efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Work individually and collectively at a high standard
- Participate in continuing education to perfect your craft
- Share your knowledge and experience to better the team’s performance and finished product.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues on pre-existing installations for residential and/or commercial customers.
- Complete the installation of products associated with residential and commercial PV systems.
- Perform removals and reinstalls of pre-existing installations.
- Pull materials and stock the work vehicle for the day’s jobs, ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and in order.
- Support job safety and crew operations, including staging materials, providing site work support, assisting with site preparation, and cleanup
- Provide regular updates on job status, complete necessary paperwork, and take photos as required.
- Utilize tablet/smartphone effectively for communication, accessing job- related apps and software, documenting work progress, and staying connected with team members and supervisors as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall project success
