Qualifications (expected on day 1):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA refrigerant certification with a thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in safely handling power and hand tools, ability to operate and read electric meter, evacuation and reclaiming pumps, pipe benders and cutters, brazing, soldering, and press tools.
- Familiarity with use of a duct brake to fabricate plenums and duct in the field
- Must be proficient in the daily use of smartphones and tablets for various work- related duties
- Familiarity with use of extension ladders
- Comfortable working in attics and confined spaces
- Ability to manage a job and lead a small crew
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable attendance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Capability to climb ladders, work on sloped roofs, and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors, often at elevated heights and in various weather conditions, as well as attics and small spaces. The job may also require travel to job sites throughout the local area.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work in a variety of positions, including standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems
Oversee and install new ducted and ductless HVAC systems to the highest standards
Communicate installation process and progress with building owner/manager, your team, and the office
Collaborate efficiently to meet project deadlines
Constantly keep ahead of the team to drive their efficiency and sense of accomplishment
Communicate material and labor needs with the project manager in time to have them ready for the project
Perform removals and reinstalls of pre-existing installations
Pull materials and stock the work vehicle for the day’s jobs, ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and in order
Support job safety and crew operations, including staging materials, providing site work support, assisting with site preparation, and cleanup
Provide regular updates on job status, complete necessary paperwork, and take photos as required
Utilize tablet/smartphone effectively for communication, accessing job-related apps and software, documenting work progress, and staying connected with team members and supervisors as required
Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the installation and/or troubleshooting process
Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall project success
